new 607 CID engine now running

Hello to all i am Jani from Finland and i have been awaiting for this moment for the past over 20 years
this is a picture from this morning, 20 miles from my home 1 hour later car was in my yard

we did not get it running, in port terminal they tryed to start the engine by pooling gas on to the carb and failed it seems that all spark plugs (autolite ar3910) are dead or something else

i bought the car as storked 496 but it seems it is only 440, here are the engine specs that came with the car from Collier Machine inc from Florida dated 01/05/2006

Wiseco PT034H3 pistons (=Compression Distance should be 2.050 so it can only be with 3.75 stroke   )
Edelbrock 60929 heads
CRS -6760 Connecting rods
CKS-440AA Crankshaft
EDE2954 Edelbrock Torker II Intake Manifold
CRN 68954-1 Camshaft
CRN 68532-16 Lifter set roller hyd

It could just be the curiousity in me but I have a question. Where and when did you buy this car? Could be nothing but it looks almost exactly like a '68 (pictured below) that was stolen from a quadriplegic back in October 2008. Same colour, same wheels, looks like yours has a rollcage too. Like I said, could be nothing but I'm curious.

tomorrow is a holy day so i cant get new plugs anywhere from here
and the exhaust manifold is so big that i cant get 2 plugs out of the head with my current plug keys
engine rotates well and gets gas and there is a spark but wont start on those plugs
besides i have my leg in plaster so it is a bit hard to fix at the time

-Damn, if the car in those pics are the same and it turns out to be a stolen car... What a mess that will be.. I really do hope that, that is not the case here...

But there are several differences when looking at both cars. Even though they look the same, they are NOT the same car...

The two pics you posted showing the rear axel, etc.. They dont even closely resemble eachother... Look again! and before you start to go off again waiving your arms in the air about stolen cars, take a deep breath and look at the pics again...

before i bought this "MY -68" i looked 155 pictures of it and i know for sure it is not the same car, even it is a fine car, but not yet at the same level as the Nick Suckows car was

The underneath of those cars are completely different... It's amazing how similar the same year charger, same color, with duels, and popular rims can look.

I just want to say that if I ever had my car stolen, I'd be very thankful that there are guys like Cody looking out for me.  Sometimes you just gotta go on instinct and a gut reaction.  Cause who's to say that the car wasn't stolen and reworked to a different level and then sold.  It could possibly happen.  You would think they would repaint it though.....

Nice car none the less and welcome to the show.  I don't even remember seeing it on ebay, how'd we miss that one?
