lately more and more I have been obsessing over AMC cars and especially Ramblers.

I really want this. leave it alone except for a drivetrain swap. 401 maybe.........

A member of our car club has a similar Rambler, and he put a Jeep in-line six cylinder engine in it.   Not sure what year engine it has, but it runs and sounds great.

My dad's friend is selling his '70 AMX. It's a 390 4spd. Big Bad Orange, Go Pack......I want it SOOO badly.

 I remember when he got it years ago. Me and my dad had to swap gears in it because the last owner used it for drag racing. I don't think he's ever driven it. I could be wrong though. As far as I know it just sits in his warehouse with the rest of his car collection. Man I wish I had $14,000 for it :rotz:

14 k is a steal.

Yep, 80,000 original miles. Could definitley use a restoration though but it's road worthy.

I love AMC cars - especially the AMX, but there's a few Ramblers that are regulars at the local cruise-in that are just so damn cool.

I saw an AMX for sale on kijiji.ca just the other day. If I had the room.... well, you know the rest.
