Anybody?
Get the Mopar service manual and follow the instructions.  I use the one from my 69 all the time and the directions and diagrams really help.
I have an original one but they are available on DC ROM from http://www.gearheadcafe.com/servlet/the-652/1973-Dodge-Shop-Manuals/Detail

Your Chrysler dealer can order them as well through his Mopar Performance catalog but they are likely more money than anybody else.

check on 3rd gen board... somebody there already made a good photo story some time ago about

It's not that hard (at least for me since I've taken so many in and out)
Just remove your rear trim/pad and remove film covering all the openings. Adjust window with the crank to point where you can reach mounting brackets and remove glass. Afterwards remove your window regulator (preferrably in fully closed position) that way it slides out easier. I would draw a diagram where each bolt goes that way you can look it up when you re-assemble.

Fronts are easy...rears are a bitch! Aligning and adjusting is the hard part...service manual is your best friend.

I just did my rears...     I got both mine done in about 45 minutes - not insanely bad - wish I had smaller hands sometimes though...    The fronts are cake...         adjusting isnt that bad either - just patience and time.

So what's the sequence of events on removing the rear quarter glass and mechanisms? I tried to carefully remove my drivers side rear 1/4 glass last night and broke off the rusty front mounting bolt. :brickwall: Now I think I just need to remove the whole thing and repair/restore it but it looks harder than taking control of Afganistan.

Well since the bolt broke it doesn't get any easier.  Now the frame needs to come out and you need to drill out the broken bolt and re-tap the hole.  That being said, get the service manual, as suggested, and follow the direstions and diagrams to remove the frame.  It really isn't too bad just hard to work with the limited space.  Make sure you are careful with this little double roller thingy at the rear of the frame.

I didn't know they did?  Lookk around as YO doesn't make their parts so someone else will have them.

Looking around for parts seems to be the most time-consuming part of this project sometimes.

Thank you! I hate wading through all the parts lists on 20 different sites trying to find stuff. Some of them don't even bother using search engines.

Uh-oh. Not seeing any window roller kits for 2nd gen Chargers on megaparts. All I see is this: http://www.megapartsusa.com/proddetail.asp?prod=132%2DDWH049

EDIT** just heard back from Megaparts:

"Curtis,
They have been on backorder for quite some time. I do not have any ETA on them.
Thanks,
Jamie"

Jamie told me that R/T Specialties is the company putting these kits together for them and for Year One.

EDIT** 4/13/09
Called R/T Specialties today and was told there's a supply problem with one of the rollers that's preventing the kits from being assembled and shipped to the vendors. You can still get certain parts from them but the $79 full kit is not yet available due to issues with a foreign supplier. They're probably on one of those ships near Somalia. :brickwall: Year One is adding $10 to the price of the kit and charging more than $11 for shipping.
