why cant i add an avatar or a signature? everytime i try i get a blank white screen after i click "change profile"

I'm going to guess "Operator Error" on this one...

Geez Neal, having a bad night were ya.

Numerous things could be causing your problem but could be the size of your avatar, the file type, etc...
Exactly as was suggested though, go here and try some of the tips given on this section.  I had issues doing it when I first got here as well so you are not alone.

thanks for the links mike, not sure what was going on, this forum uses the same set up as another i belong to so i know i was "operating" it correctly. i tried again today and all is working ok,
