What wires need power to make the engine run with a remote starter button. The engine harness is in tact   but the dash harness is out of the car. I want to make sure the engine is good before I pull the car apart

If you have no steering  column you'll have to get power to the brown wire to ignition and put the power remote across the two power line at your starter solenoid. Would think that should get it, it would be easier if you had the ignition switch but I think that's gone with dash harness

feed the ballast blue wire from batt with a jumper wire and crank from starter solenoid ( with a wrench between big stud and Sol terminal ) and done
