So Im researching the moldings on my 74 charger (ralleye) spring special.

So far i was told that ALL trim/moldings are stainless except...

1) Wheel openings
2) Rear window
3) Vinyl top check marks (POT METAL)

IS THIS TRUE?

So far I've counted 32 pieces.

#1 - (3) hood/fender moldings, 1 across the back of hood and 1 per each fender
#2 - (4) wheel opening
#3 - (5) Windshield pieces
#4 - (2) door belt (1 per door)
#5 - (6) drip rail (3 per door)
#6 - (4) rear glass
#7 - (6) vinyl top
#8 - (2) door edge protectors (1 per door) (not sure if FACTORY or ADDED?)

#9 - (1) per rocker (Car doesnt have these, not sure if supposed to)

Im looking to find out if i can get all the moldings in stainless... Can someone shed some light on this subject? I've been looking at the parts book and I done trying to figure this out. I need help.

Anyone shed some light on the correct PART NUMBERS i should be looking for? Plus what years/vehicles are interchangeable?

Thanks.

Pic of charger similar to mine...

Door protectors are dealer option...on ebay it has being a NOS set being sold since EVER. Not a wished parts really.

Wheel opening molds available as repro on Classic Industries. Althought there are rears available NOS on ebay. Maybe also fronts, I just checked two days ago couple of pages on ebay and found them

LEFT side rocker mold, there is a NOS one being sold on ebay. Pretty sure is Bradsnosparts seller. They used to have the set, but I think not anymore. Not repro for those, just regular thin molds. I can't tell if the wider ones was part of the Spring Special package. They are originally part of SE package. Bradsnosparts used to have also NOS wheel opening molds

Rest just used

One thing for sure... vinyl top WON't be easy. That vinyl top was just a 74 option on M07 fender code cars. Rest of molds are the same than the rest of 73/74 Chargers but drip rail molds, what can be from another 74 M07 or 73/74 SE

Sometime ago there was a guy in facebook parting out a Spring special  car... will grab the name and you try to contact it

Up to 73 the front and rear windows were stainless, on 74 changed to aluminium. All 71/74 interchanges thought. 71 rears with full vinyl top are granulated to meet the vinyl top finish.

Hood and fenders are all 71/74 interchangeable BUT the 71/72 profile is diff from 73/74, same as the top of door. That full setup is called "belt line moldings". On hardtops/coupes, the C pillar piece is part of the belt line molding too

Wheel openings are aluminum, no way to change that.

I have couple of rear of hood molds in decent conditions I can rid off, BUT my location is not helpfull to you LOL

Travis Strasel... but it was back in sept/oct 2016. No guarantee still got parts or even the car. I got from him the shoulder comfort seatbelt sliders. He posted the car on one of the dozens of mopar groups on FB, noticed still got those sliders on pics and bought. Cars was really damaged, undercarriage rusted out but complete.
