I don't know if I would modify a good bulge hood to do that. Looks good at first glance.

is not mine ( although is on my car ), and I'm agree, would make it on an extra hood. I would do it with a twist... smaller opening and a flap door which would flush the bulge and will flip down when wished/required ( instead the tipical ram air hood with door flipping up ).

The hood was dented in front and was nicelly rebuilt.
