Am I missing something here? Are 1964 Dodge Polaras sought after cars?

This guy is trying to sell off his hacked up project on eBay. States that he used a different quarter panel from a 1965, floor boards patched with 1964 trunk lid sheet metal, rotted out rear window channel and rotted lower quarters yet he claims metal work is 90% done. WTF.

Guys like this, is pretty much the reason I'll never be able to afford a collector car anymore. Lot of guys see the car prices at auto auctions, and think they got a gold mine. And as far as the prices go, Mopar's are the worst, for getting little for a ton of money.
