I have a 1976 charger and when i got the car the gauge lights worked fine but one night they stopped. I checked my fuses and they were all good so i thought maybe the bulbs were burnt out. That was not something i wanted to get into so i left it as it was and then they randomly came on one night. they usually stay on until i park the car and shut it off. My lights for the AC and gear selector still work 100%. I have looked this up but havent quite found anything like my situation. If anyone needs anymore information just let me know. I'd like to have this fixed by the 1st of next month but i dont really have the money to take it to a shop so im hoping to be able to do it at home.

As far I know the 75 and laters clusters get a soft printed circuit board right? And harness plug gets inserted on a cavity where makes contact with track... I think there is a contact failing between the plug to the cluster and the circuit track for it.

Find the plug and jiggle it a bit to check if gets better.
