So, I need new door springs for my 73' Rallye Charger.
Questions are, how hard to locate the springs? No luck on E-Bay.
How difficult to install?
Is this something that a body shop would do?
Thanks...

yes, those are the push kind spring. Tipically used on 71/73 and maybe some earliers 74. That kit is everywhere. Unfortunatelly mines are the S pring kind and had to get them NOS as full assembly ( not tooo bad priced thought ).

IMHO, those kits are a waste of time and money. You'll never get that spring to stop popping off unless you are pretty close to expert at these things.
I would sent yours to redone or purchase reman ones. Pricey but if they break you have something to fall back on.

again just my opinion.

oh... well... dunno, never have tried that kind... I just replaced the pins on my S spring kind once ( since springs and lock wheel aren't available new ) and THAT job was really easy... just didn't last long enough. Bushings weared out quickly. The hinge needs to be also milled down to be able to fit the bushings too thought.

Fortunatelly found the lower hinges NOS on a pretty much decent price long time ago. And got AMD uppers since they are the same than earliers.
