Hey guys,

I've almost finished my DC project and need some 2-3 weeks to finalize, buuuuuut.... I need both front and rear bumper fillers (2 sets, 6 pieces in total). As I understood, these 2 sets are the most wanted for this model :)

Any ideas where to get them???

I tried on ebay, 've contacted some auto salvages in the USA... no chance.

BTW, I need delivery to Latvia (EU). In case if someone is lazy, no probs, I can provide PO in the USA.

Thanks in advance!

Someone was making them, I believe a member here, but they seem to be hard to find now. I don't think he is doing them anymore. There are front corners on ebay.

This may take some searching on your part to find all six. You can try sending the seller a message to see if they can get all six. Or, you can do what a few members have and move in the bumpers. For the back you need 71-72 rear bumper brackets. On the front you can oval out the mounting holes on the 73 brackets to move them in. You will also have to shorten the fender to bumper brackets. If you can't find 71-72 back brackets, you can shorten yours, but it's a lot of work. Check out this article. http://www.hotrod.com/articles/fix-disco-era-bumpers/

By the way, awesome build!

Since you are obviously custom, why don't you tuck the bumpers in for a cleaner look?

hey,

wanted to keep original as muh as possible. But to cut them and put in is a good idea!

You obviously don't have to cut the bumpers, that is extreme. Most people just leave the bumpers stock and move them in to look like a 71-72.

All you need is 71-72 rear bumper brackets and elongated the front bumper bracket where it attaches to the frame.

Hi,

may u provide any links to ebay, CS or smt else for these parts? I already ordered front side fillers, so I need from center filler and all rear parts ;(

I read a lot about 71-72 and 73-74 parts, but as I live in Latvia it is sometimes difficult to imagine how parts fits each other, because nearest similar Dodge is somewhere in 1000 km :))

Waiting for your reply,

YK

Seeing how difficult it is to find parts in your neck of the woods you are probably better off finding the fillers on eBay.

The seller on ebay ( fmmopar ) is selling rear corners too, which in fact were the first ones they made.
