I have been looking for a 70-74 turn signal switch with the roller contact on it, does anyone know if they are still made or available anywhere?
The only ones that I find have a copper post that when i turn the steering wheel it makes a god awful squealing noise.

Just NOS...  and as far I can tell Maybe some OLD replacement pieces could still get the roller. Rest are the actual bronze push pin

i havent seen any with the roller at all, just the pin. Are you supposed to use some grease or something with the pin? I guess i'm just going to have to keep looking, thanks for the replies guys.

Hi,

Yes, as I recall there should be a thin film of grease on the mating copper ring.

Just in case, the original PN is 3488804, which ORIGINALLY didn't get the extra harness for cornering lights. The one with that harness was originally 3488805, but NOW all original replacements available are under 3488804 PN with the cornering lights setup. You simply wouldn' use it.

( I got luck maybe 7 or 8 years ago that I found the correct 3488804 one NOS for $45 or so on ebay )

I've got an original one from a 74 dart with part #3488804 and its in usable condition, I was hoping they made new ones with the roller instead of the pin. i'm assuming you would use a dielectric grease on the copper ring on the steering wheel?
