I have a 74 and 73 Charger. I am putting my 73 back together after a ground up restoration that is taking 7 years. I mounted the steering knuckle so the calipers are at the eleven o'clock position, as viewed from the side. This was according to my marks from disassembly, from years back.   My 74 calipers are rear mounted, in the one o'clock position as viewed from the side. Did I screw the 73 up or was the 74 simply mounted different? Is there a right and wrong mounting position?

Thanks,
H

they must be installed toward rear... 1 o'clock on driver side, 11 o'clock on passenger side ;). Bleeder on top of course.
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html
