Hi,

I'm a french owner of a 73 Dodge Charger, we're working on the engine at the moment and we removed it, between the motor cradle and the chassis there are 4 big round plastic parts. Mine are damaged and super old, never changed I guess, since 1973.

I need to change them but don't know the word the exact in english, and where can I get them ?

Thanks in advance guys and have a good day !

Calling them Body-Frame Insulators, or Body bushings, should get you started in finding them, i would think.

Prothane and Energy Suspension offers them on polyurethane ( several vendors like Summit )

Some other vendors sell replacements in solid aluminium ( like Firm feel )

there is a member around here who it was working on rubber repro replacements just like originals, but haven't heard from him latelly

Kern Dog

They are made of rubber and were used to make these cars ride softer and more comfortable. It is common for restored cars to replace them with the stiffer/firmer urethane parts.

The book term is "isolator".

adding on this:

K- Member isolator or
Crossmember isolators

check also the Torsion bars rear crossmember isolators... it should get couple similar, just smaller
