Can you tell me that this is?  The yellow one.

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Looks like a Jensen to me, British sports cars that often used Mopar 383s and 440s.

that's the best angle to view a .....

Lancia Fulvia Zagato Sport (V4 & front wheel drive)

That is a hideous turd. Has Great Britian ever built a decent looking car? Oh, besides the MG ?

Thanks for the ID and link.  I agree, that is the best angle.  If I see it again and have a chance, I'll take a look at other angles.

I've seen a number of cars pop up this Spring.  I saw this one a few weeks ago.

Yes, they have!!  TR-7 comes to mind!!

But blame this one on others!

"Iconic Italian manufacturer Lancia will no longer sell its cars outside of Italy, it has been confirmed. Part of the Fiat group, Lancia has struggled for sales, with Chairman and CEO of the Fiat group Sergio Marchionne stating, "Lancia will become an Italian market-only brand."
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

This is the more well known Fulvia body, but the uncommon HF performance version.      Still a V4, front driver.   Lancia's deal was V4 and V6 front drive, going back into the 50's.

Reminds me,  this one was on the same street (my street) about 2 months ago.

Challenger340

Reminds me of a V12 Jaguar we got roped into rebuilding after a Jag Dealership tried and failed.
if I remember they were advertised right around 260 hp ?
We put it on the Dyno when we finished..... it made EXACTLY 264 hp.... must have been a "good" one !
Only wimps wear Bowties !

Yeah, I'm sure my opinion of British cars will offend someone but you can't help what you like. Most European cars don't appeal to me though.

XH29N0G

Here are some more to mull over. The last one isn't European, or even that old.  Does that suit your tastes?  Maybe?

The second one has bumperettes, just like the GL, maybe a cross with a sporty version of the Griswoldmobile.

:nana:

I think its fine to prefer the aesthetics of older American cars.  That's why I have my charger.   :2thumbs:

Thanks for letting us know.    Don't you have some used tires to dispose of and "stick it to the man"?

Ive got no problems with that....and I don't think many Brits will. Different strokes etc......Hardly any US cars are imported to Europe (Jeeps aside....and they are a glorified FIAT now) because anything this side of about 1975 looks a bit odd in Euro eyes....especially 80s and early 90s cars. Well that and the generally "softer than we like" handling. Does not mean they are bad cars though....be interesting to know how many of your cars (actually built in the USA rather than Euro built Fords etc) are exported to Europe compared to how many we (Europe) send there.
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you !!

I just keep getting stuck with all the old cars in good condition.  Same parking spot as the blue Mercedes for the vw.

The Italians invented rust.   Then they licensed it to Karmann.

Nacho-RT74

and all American cars bought the rust copyright for their quarters LOL

I do like the styling of some of the Mopars from South America. Moparts had a section of their forum with lots of Argentina and Brazilian A bodies. I don't like the Australian GM cars though. Their styling looks odd to me.

Maybe things would look different if you uncovered your other eye, as seen in your avatar.

Maybe styling is adjusted to match the regions where the cars will be sold. I don't like small cars and you see a LOT of them in countries with high fuel prices like Europe and Scandinavia. I don't prefer 4 doors and there are a LOT of them in Australia. I did like what the Aussies did with the Valiant Charger line. I like the South American Charger and GTX models.
