Does anyone have information on the Custer Mfg Co who made the scissor jacks for the Superbird and Daytona? I'm looking for any documentation, company history, company logos, mag ads etc on the company.

There are plenty of Custer jacks out there. Many (most) have subtle differences from the one you want; slightly different top piece thickness, side support thickness differences, screw differences, connecting rivet differences, etc.

The available number of jacks does let you find the correct handle, with the factory ghosts visible from factory pressing.

Hey All,
If I'm not dreaming, I remember a mention in one of the DSAC newsletters (decades ago) about the scissor jacks being reproduced by Custer Jack for a limited run.  I can't find that issue or article.  Does anyone else remember this?  The only reason I do is because I didn't order one and wish I had.  Ideas?
