That is a very nice car,all original body panel Chargers are few and far between these days. I guess they call cars like this a "one repaint survivor "

This looks an awful lot like the 70 charger that was for sale up in Brentwood California last year. I would have to dig through craigslist classified but I remember seeing this car posted for 37,500

Over 45 grand now. That's some strong money.

Is it just me, or does the vinyl roof grain not look right? I also see rust bubbles in front of the wheelwell molding at the very bottom and where the quarter meets the rocker. The rear bumper appears to be twisted & what's with the black paint in the valance panel corner cap seam?




The horizontal lines on the grille have been touched up and the antenna is wrong.








Also, the driver's seat & rear seat are torn & the rugs don't look that good. Overall, it appears to be a nice car, but I bet that there are more things you'll find in person than you can see in the pictures.

45 grand is really strong money, and the vynal top is not the original one,my guess is that the top was probably replaced when the car was repainted. The west coast weather is particularly hard on paint and vynal tops. The body is not perfect, but it is very nice,those lead seams at the rocker are prone to bubbling. It is all the money for an L code Charger, time will tell if the bids are real,and the car really gets a new owner.

Red, blue, yellow, black all could bring more money, than a lizard colored car.

yep my charger had a top like that when I bought it,it was put on sometime in 85 by the second owner !  though to my self its a good quality top but wrong pattern/ grain, too shiny  & it had a kind of foamy/spongey backing to it also    think that kind of top was universal cut to fit type but with seams ... saw a number of  mid / late 70s GM  stuff  also  caddys lincolns  buicks  with that kind of top fitted in the late 80s early 90s
