Bronzedodge

Slightly weathered.  Long con or factory mistake?
Mopar forever!

car was parted decades ago in CA

AFAIK at this point it is unknown whether it was a typo "XS" or a legit "XP29J"

..... but if it was an R/T, it is missing the stripe code  :scratchchin:

Yes, the lack of a stripe code is interesting as well.

Supposedly the car is alive and well in Canada...tried to get more info but as usual on these types of things very cryptic....

Does an R/T SE get XP29 or XS29 VIN with some SE package code ?
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

An R/T SE would have an XS prefix on the VIN number.
