Should be Dark Green...

you must be joking!!!

well I guess depending o the trim code, but that would mean the dash is also green ?

what's your trim code norcal_68 ?

i'm assuming you ask being black or white because you already have a black dash!!! :shruggy:

Shelf panel matches with dash. That's the answer. You can confirm it with the table above looking at your interior trim code I guess. True is Plymouth, but codes and configurations use to be the same.

Can I be wrong? Yes, but I can't recall an unmatched dash and shelf color

Looking at the codes table fro 68 Charger, it seems the codes are not the same for Plymouth.

On green exterior, just C6F, C6X, C6D and C6W

Wondering about the C6D code :shruggy:

( editing, just found it... with D is white interior with green carpet which I guess also matches with dash and shelf )

Yep

Thanks all, I looked at trim tag and decoded CSW: Trim Grade/Style/Color C = Charger 6 = Vinyl Bucket Seats W = White and Black

I guess I should have started there.

I was reading this thread yesterday am. Then I watched Nicks garage new video. He just took in a 70 GTX with white interior. Was looking for the package tray. It was black.  And really nice.

my 74 nowdays is like that. Originally blue but in bad conditions decided change it to White/black.... Dash/column, Carpet, Console, seatbelts and rear sheft all black... rest white.

For 68 the "white" interior wasn't all white. Dash, steering column, A pillar covers, coat hooks, carpet, seat belts, kick panels, console, certain window trim, and package tray were all black. If you got a blue, red, green, or gold interior those things matched the seats (sort of). Of course then there were the blue/white, green/white and other combos (C6C, C6D, C6E, C6V in the chart above). Lots of options in 68! But no white package trays.

Your paint is also not "F8". Is it "GG1"? That's a very cool combo!

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

You're right, it's not F8, the color is 661. I bought the car from the original owner, an elderly lady, and everything is original except for the package tray which was replaced with white shag carpet  ;) . Everything you mentioned above is black and provides great contrast to the white.
