Google a few lines from the song and it should show up. :scratchchin:

There are free phone apps that you can download that will listen to a song and then identify it. Pretty fun technology to whip out when you hear a song that you want to know the title of.
1969 Charger 500 #232008
1972 Charger, Grand Sport #41
1973 Charger "T/A"

I tried, no success.  Unless I am using the wrong keywords to search.

I tried Shazam on my iphone, no success.   Mary is singing, background noise, and the cut to different scenes makes the music clip short and unclear.

I thought maybe there are some experts here on the movie and soundtrack music that might know.

per Wiki and IMDB, they only list 1 song which is the opening/closing credits..

think i might have found something , or ive driven my self crazy playing that clip over & over again & imaging stuff  :image_294343:

Marjorie McCoy  Shining all along   its the B side to her time is such a funny thing song , even mentions DMCL on the record label !  not sure why i never found this before ! but had no reason to look , its only  J440C's post that prompted me to search her name.
now before listening to it , your concentrating on the instrumental tune in the back ground not her lyrics , now go to the DMCL  scene where Mary is singing along kind of , i think  that music has been dubbed in & just the instrumental part or a instrumental version type thing , other wise it would clash with Mary's part .
also the film version of time is such a funny thing is different to the record version ,
film version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TJxvu94R-4
record vinyl version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHAT0okoRlc

anyway heres the Shining all along song ! remember concentrate on the instrumental parts . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUUVR8cB3RI

if no one else can hear or what i'm hearing , i have driven my self nutts  :yesnod: ,  in which case  i have a bus to catch  :shortbus:  :P

I love your passion and I think I can see and hear what you are saying at 2:22 into the clip: https://youtu.be/HUUVR8cB3RI?t=142

However, I don't think its the same song.  Sorry.

I recorded and uploaded the video so everyone can hear it. https://youtu.be/M6XzyquV9Ys

For decades I could still recall guitar riffs from a song heard in the early 70's on local radio. The no words rock tune haunted me until 6 years ago when someone uploaded Stoned Cowboy to Youtube.  Something in my brain relaxed, my ears were happy and so I know how you feel.

:pullinghair:   noooo sure i can hear it , think ive brain washed my self then if i'm the only one that can hear it   ;) ;D

:2thumbs:        yeah i do get very passionate / enthusiastic  where chargers are concerned &  DMCL just so happens to be my favorite charger / car movie of all time  :yesnod:
i even recorded the whole sound track of  this film on to a blank cassette tape  to listen to in the car years ago too. maybe i am nuts  ;)

thats good you uploaded that DMCL clip ,  i cant find my DMCL  DVD for some reason at the moment , so  i was  listening / watching an old recording off a recording that i video taped off the tv  early 80s then put on to a disc,  i was attempting to  freeze framing & pausing youtube simultaneously with the  recording trying to get the right bits that i thought sounded similar

still think its a highly altered instrumental version of Shining All Along  , sure Mary says or at least i think even says Shine Shine at the start at 1 hour  8 minutes & 25 seconds  in your above DMCL clip
Ghoste's a big fan of this film too ! maybe he has some ideas ...
