for years I have allways thought  ( and I bet many of us ) this interior was a brand new release for 74 based on the dealers book catalog ( is not present on the 73 year options ):

However, making a search about Spring Special package ( not searching for the aztec interior ), just found THIS AD:

AND ON THE SAME SEARCH found this car:

barnfinds.com/36k-original-miles-1973-dodge-charger/

what? 73 and Aztec interior ?... if you read the ad ( not easy but still doable ) it seems THERE WAS A 73 SPRING SPECIAL CAR!!! yes!! I never knew about this package being offered by 73, and included the Aztec interior as part of the package... so this was the real born for this interior ( just as a bench thought ), then officially offered by 74 without part of any package.

So 2 new discoverings here...

THEN... NEW FINDS FLOATED ON!!!

and an extra pic

Mostly sure these were floating around since ever but never wondered about year/setup, got deep into them or detailed more info about this.

Pretty much interesting. Now wondering if these carried the A77 code on tag ?

One of the biggest regrets of my life was not getting an Aztec option '74 Charger

Well my first surprise here was actually the 73 Spring Special package existence, when we instantly associate this package option just to 74s.
