I bought one of those (not with a big block) back in 1980 as a winter beater. I didn't realize it was somewhat special, just thought it had a gawdy interior. Years after it was gone I found out it was a Hang Ten and what that was. Mine got used as a pickup quite often unfortunately. You could fit 12' lumber between the seats and still close the trunk. I even had a Dana 60 in the back once. The things you did in mis-spent youth.

Now this big bock version, Is something special. Nice.
You know you are vintage when someone says, "Back in the day", and you can dispute their facts.

It was a drag car for about 20 years and then in storage for 10 years. It only has 34,000 miles. The previous owner restored it about 8 years ago. I got it for $11,500 USD.

Neat.

Brings back memories.  A buddy of mine had one when we were in high school....late '70s.   It was in fantastic condition....nearly new....pretty good for a teen-ager back then.  The rest of us drove cars that were not nearly as nice.

It was very quick, and would light 'em up pretty easy, so it could have been a 360 car.  Don't recall for sure.

This was before I was a big MOPAR guy, but I do remember what a great car it was.   :2thumbs:
