70 vs. 72 440 Magnum engine

I have a 70 and bought the 70 repair manual.   I have a 72 engine though.  Dumb question should I purchase the 72 manual too?   Not sure if there were significant difference in those two engines as  far as operation and maintenance.

No. Look at sites like "440 Source" for details.  :2thumbs:

Main diff is the pistons height since that’s how the CR was reduced. Then you could get some other diff like cast crank instead forged, single timming chain instead double or some diff casting number part but otherwise they are same engine.

While there might be few differences, it doesn't hurt to have both manuals to compare.

Thank you guys sorry for the delay.  For some reason the 72 manual is missing from the list , but at least I can get a digital 70 and 73.  Appreciate the insight and link!
