Guys, I know I will catch grief from some, but.....here it goes. Has anyone attempted to put a 71/72 stripe kit on a 74 Dodge Charger? Thank you in advance.

Do you mean like this? You are aware the doors are completely different, the lines don't match?

The 73-74 door is lower in height at the rear but otherwise is very similar to the 71-72 door. The dimension from the front of the door to the rear of the quarter panel is the same, and the vinyl is fairly flexible, so personally I think it can be done. Not sure it will be a perfect fit but would be close at least. It's worth a try. Do it!

The stripe on 71 ( 72 ) flows between upper lines on doors. Above it initially, then below it. It changes on the area where the body lines cross over.
On 73/74 the body line is continuous, so the flow flip between body lines will happen without any smooth, just crossing the body line.
73/74 body lines are more sharpened
The curvature on quarter is diff and the vinyl mostly sure will absorv that BUT the smooth flow on door won't happen anymore.

73/74 doors are lower on rear... quarter glass opening is lower. Of course door jams too... around an inch and a half. The difference begins around half of the door Was watching an episode of Mopar or No Car on Prime video and saw a shot of a 74 with 71 stripes, will see if I can do a screen grab.
I have seen a couple over the years done.
never said it never has been done or it can't be done, but will find the stripe crossing over the body line
