So, who has all the buckets seats for a 71-72 Charger ?  They have all dried up, so it seems.

moparstuart

any high back buckets will work as a core  ,  you will just need the correct tracks . Then cover them in the correct material  .

Stu, I might as well go aftermarket.  No one here seems to have ever seen or heard of 71-72 Buckets seats. :shruggy: :brickwall:

70 seats are a one year thing I believe

I have a set of 73 seats my buddy put in his 72 Charger and they both had the same pattern on them ( but do not know for sure his were original to his car )

71 AND 72 are diff between them

There is also a mid year change by 71 using laters seat backs panels whixh affects the release latch and hinges. These still use the 70/71 foam able to accept the right covers. 72s won't fit nicelly on them

Need to point out exactly on what do you want.

72/74 are easier to find, since they are the same except for the vinyl grain used, and 72s got the back release button chromed instead colored matched

70s and 71s are the same thought, except fpr the tracks of course.

What year are interested most? 71 or 72? I bet 73/74 buckest are way more Affordable, and they are the same than 72

Nacho, I was looking for 72 Bucket Seats.  However, these did not come in cloth, and did not recline.  Poor design in my Opinion.

Nacho-RT74

Well, 72 are the same than 73/74 except for the release back button being colored coded for 73/74. I bet you'll find some cheaper sooner or later.

No, there is no recline option for these buckets. Not even Cordobas/Chargers version which are more "tuffy" ( thicker foam I think but dunno if just the foam filling the cover or also the foam attached on frame ) but could be used too. I have seen several 71/74 Chargers with them. Cloth just the houndstooth 71s option. But you can make a custom cover at any local shop thought!

So note to self do not reply to nuttycuda guy threads

Again if you look at my reply I did say 70 seats were different because the post above my post sent an ebay link to some 70 seats AND then I said that from my observation that maybe 73 are also the same so you could widen your search

And for the record I am not drunk   :2thumbs:

He must be off his meds again.

I think 70 and first 71 half production seats got a difference with the laters 71s, and of course even laters buckets and is the earliers got springs on backs while laters not.
