Can someone with a 73 please get a marker light pic?

We replaced all the wire harnesses and the front marker/turn signal lights were all cobbled up. I just want to know exactly what the lens and plugs looked like.

Also if you have an originally wired coil pic that would help A LOT also. Thanks

They used those same markers well into the '80s. There are probably plenty of examples at your local mall. The date code on the marker lights on two Shelby Chargers I had were from 72.

The fronts should be identical to the rears only amber instead of red color.  Same shape, same plug, same bulbs.  And yes they were used into the 80s, they are on tons of vehicles.

just go look at a tractor trailer supply store for the generic rectangle marker lights.  :icon_smile_big: they look the same to me. I gotta do something with the ones on my 74, theyre hideous

this is what you need ?

uses this pigtail:

BTW they are not turning lights, just markers... sidemarkers

Actually Charger 73 I need one of the lights that are in the lower valance like on your avatar. For some reason the ones on the car are a 2 spade connector and the new harness has a 3 spade connector. Kind of like low/high beam verses only a high beam light. Thanks guys

Are you sure you got the right harness?  I just went out and looked at mine and its also 2 prong.  Ill upload some pics I just took in a minute...  they are downloading now.

There is no wiring in my car at all at the moment so I checked what was on my parts car and the second pic looks like the turn signal connector to me.  Both are 2 prong and have the same shape.  There is 3 wires going to the wiring connector on the actual harness though...  Im not good with wiring so someone else will have to tell you if thats right or wrong.

Thats what the lights that are on it now look like. The Harness we had to order is actually for a 72 apparently. We couldnt find a 73. Or at least thats what we were told. Thanks for the pics, I appreciate it.

71 use a rubber L plug like electronic distribuitor ones.
72 and 73 use the one that is being show.
74 USE A THREE terminals one ( two vertivals one horizontal ). One of them is ground feeded by the radiator core support ground behind the batt, althought parking light doesn't provide the ground terminal counterpart.

If some 73 is 3 terminals equipped maybe could it be a later 73 production ???

On that 73 pic there is 3 wires becasue the black traced yellow is spliced from there to the sidemarker
