I'm about ready to install all my new suspension pieces to my K-frame. But I was wondering if it's possible to assemble the entire front suspesnion to the K-frame and then raise the K-frame into position with an engine lift? Can I torque everything down on the suspension before I put the car down, since I'm using all poly bushings? Do you need threadlocker on the the K-frame to body bolts, factory torque is only 50 FT-LBS, which seems low for such a main suspension part.

Yeah, you can assemble it all on frame first, I did it this weekend, although I didn't raise it into position yet. I'd probably use an anti sieze (sp?) compound. I'd be way to worried about using a thread locker, incase I ever needed to take the frame off, the last thing I'd need is to break the welds on the nuts in the frame and having the bolt turn complete.

Yes you can do it, BUT without upper control arms ( the plate ) bolted on to K member since this plate/control arm assembly surrounds the frame rails

I don't think they'd get in the way
