Yellow wire on column I do not know what is for or where it goes
This is for a 1973 Charger SE
see pic

It is a seperate wire on the column. IT is not part of the Ignition group or the turn signal group

Any ideas

Thanks

That wire is for your ignition switch lamp. The end that your holding connects to the time delay relay wire thats taped about a foot up on the main harness coming from the fuse block.  The relay is taped to the main harness to keep it from hanging down and it has a plug with two yellow wires and one pink wire on it.
If you trace one of those yellow wires, it will have a single wire plug on the end that hooks to the column.

yeah it goes where he said, to a tiny lamp located just behind the hazard switch on the lower right hand side.
