A friend of mine has a '71 Charger SE. Is there a source for a new hood release cable? I looked on YearOnes site and didn't find anything.

Thanks, Rich

I see that has the black handle. I've got 2 cables, both from 71 Chargers. 1 has the black handle, the other is chrome. Which handle is correct?

I think 71s were really chromed and next ones were black. I think was middle year change, like the hoods grilles, or bucket seat backs panels

Thanks, it's my friend's car. He's had it for about 15 yrs. Doesn't drive it too much though. 440, 4-speed Dana car. I'll pass on the website info.

Thanks again.
