If i bought it i would spray paint the whole thing black, and rip the hood scoop and wing off before being seen with that car.

bearbqd

I dunno, the scoop is about the only thing I like about the car.

Look at the leaf springs. Looks like it already was spray painted...

Personally, I've never understood the fasination with converting cars other than a '69 Charger into a General Lee clone. I've seen nearly every year of Charger as well as a couple Coronets done up as Generals. It feels painting my wife's '04 Grand Cherokee black and installing a red LED light bar in the nose and calling it KITT. I just don't get it.

Hi!This is my '69 Charger SE 383 2 barrel.
I bought it from a californian auto trader a year ago and import it in Italy.
The title tell that the car was site in Lexington, VA but unfortunatelly I don't know its story.
Have you ever seen this car before?
It is a matcing number.
After a year, I almost finish to restore it and realized my dream since I was child....have a great General Lee!
Take care you all!!!

Welcome aboard!
Nice job!  It looks like the General is almost ready to ride

Y'know, 440 blocks are super cheap and are found in tons of trucks, vans, and larger sedans. You can get a good 440 running for easily the same (if not cheaper) than a stroker 408. Go big, man! It's a '74, it never had the chance to run the big motor. Give it the opportunity it deserves!

You're kidding right Dave?  There is one on the second page of this thread but there are several others scattered around the forum.  I don't take too many pics of it for a variety of reasons but there are a number on here.   Just not a car that catches your own eye maybe?  :shruggy:
