working on my 74 440, auto, with thermoquad which has a seleniod mounted on the r side of it for idle, it has a wire plug hanging off of it, and I have only one wire hanging from my harness which should hook up to my A/C, then the air shoud ingauges. Where would this selenoid hook up at, and should it have a constant 12 V from the ignition???

I replied you at Moparts since that topic was recently talked there:

but then I'm wondering about if the blue wire up to alt is LONG up to alt field or is shorter, to get the solenoid and then an extra wire is added to get the alt field

I made work the system once ( with the right plug ) but was wondering how was set the wiring from factory. I allways have seen the blue wire long up to alt, and not shorter and with an extension of wire plugged.

the weird on this is all solenoids comes with male terminals and not the CE33 plug

Lot of ppl uses really to increase iddle when Compressor is turned on. I think down here was in that way too from factory
