Hi thrid gens owners, specially 73/74

I need help with quarters since I'm rebuilding that part of my car. Since here don't sell quarter patches panels and I was victim of a bad earlier body job, I have to make by myself the patches and weld.

BUT... I woould love to have, found, see pics of the inner quarter section where the   part of quarter is welded to the outer wheel well. ( pic attached of the part I need )... any extra pic of that section would be great on any view... from inside, outside etc...

Alkso would love to have measures from end to end of the wheel well opening.

Please, Hurry since my body man is waiting for that.

If the other wheel well is not being worked on I would measure that just so you know that they arent going to differ by much... know what I mean? Someone here can give you measurements but theirs might have been worked on too (unless the person knows it wasnt).

both sides are the same. The first Body man who make any kind of job on my car, cut everything without my permission. He cut the quarters on front and rear sections from practically the middle of body, and rust didn't arrive not even the LOWER body line GRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

of course I'm asking for help from people with cars with original body, or people with a perfect job on his cars.

I have NOS wheel opening molds, and they work like a model to follow, but still with that I feel/notice something wrong.

I do not have the moldings on the lower part. This is the better side, being the drivers side.

The opening of the wheel well looks like about 35" across. thats eyeballed as the true measurement requires pulling the tire.

Hey Nacho, Sorry it took so long for me to reply. I work weekends now. I took pics from different angles. I hope this helps. As far as I know my quarters are original. It was an Arizona car, Very little rust. These are the drivers side. It is about 32" across. The wheel is pretty well centered but not exact. It was kinda hard to hold the tape measure and focus the camera behind me.

Nacho: right click and save on the actual image name. It's next to the paper clip. The last post above says "* Pass side view low.JPG (69 KB, 640x480 - viewed 15 times.)". PHP is not an image format - it's trying to save a link to the page source.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Ok this is weird... firts time I tried to save pics ( with the first group of pics paul posted ) I did made clicking on pic with right button without problem, now I can't on anyone, except on Beer's pic.

I can't do it neither clickong on pics name, doesn't appear the save as option, just "save target"... ( I think that's teh way how appears in english )

Making some try I could save them only opening on a new window and then SAVED on my PC.... but still think this is weird.

Anyway, someone sent to me to my email... thanks whoever was...

Do you know why did hapen that Troy ?
