They Look different from what I can see, I noticed too that when looking for new ones the vendors list them 71-72 and exclude us 73-74 types. The 71-72 battery trays are not as squared off as ours, I am curious too if they will work in a 73 since they do not seem to make em.

Here is my 73

Here is a Goodmark Industries for a 71-72

Odd, according to MOPAR online catalog...

Manufactured to exact specifications, this tray comes e-coated to protect it from chemical and moisture exposure. This tray fits all 1970â€"74 E-body and 1971â€"74 B-body applications.

OK they say it will fit through 74...ok who is gonna be the first to try it?

Year One seems to have the correct one...

I will likely buy the Year One 73-74 tray...
Mopar parts is not making a good impression with me. My Mopar viscous fan was marked engine side on the wrong side! They are peddling the wrong battery tray in their catalog for the 73-74 B body...

the 73-74 is different the 71-72 has that triangeled end on it. You can cut that off and weld it together and it will work. Also have to drill different holes.
