WINGIN IT

Here she is getting washed down right before stripping.
While I love the 80's look the turbine wheels will go in favor of chrome magnum 500s

There goes the taxi cab yellow color !  :yesnod:
This was the "bad" quarter... ;)

WINGIN IT

Pic of the aftermarket alarm that was in the car .
Quick story, when I asked the owner if the alarm was still active, he said he had no idea, as it never went off. Sure enough when I had the car inspected the inspector pulls up and the alarm is screaming !   The owner didn't know how to disable it so the inspector tells the owner... see that wire... CUT IT..

WINGIN IT

Ahhh.. and a nice coat of primer... now that's better..  ;)

Dent in the trunk lid...

The nose had some "custom" fresh air work done to it, but Larry did a fantastic job of getting back to factory specs.

Granted I didn't post every pic of what Larry's done so far , but I'm very pleased to say the least.
I can post more eye candy now as things progress ( provided Larry keeps sending me pictures ,  :D  )

The car will not be a trailer queen, it will restored to be a great lookin' reliable driver, that's the goal.
With that don't expect a concourse resto.  The idea was to keep what we could original if possible.
Regardless, ALL the parts will be saved.
With any luck she'll be drivin' come warm weather up in here in the Northeast. :2thumbs:

Here's quick video of pulling the Special Order Sheet and Traveler's Sheet from the back seat floor.
We though it was the buildsheet at first, but it was too long. That's because the Special Order Sheet was taped to the Traveler's sheet.
We found the buildsheet ( actually TWO buildsheets) under the front PS carpet tucked next to the console.  The other sheet was for a 4 door Valiant I think - stuck to the Daytona sheet  :icon_smile_big:

Boy that is really sharp! I am a bit jealous that yours has way more originality than mine.  However, it would be fun to pull into a cruise night at the same time if it is possible.  We can watch everybody walk away from the camaros and mustangs to see ours!

The undercoating definitely did it's job to keep the underside protected.
A caring family that kept it garaged  doesn't hurt either  :2thumbs:

Yes, will look forward to having the cars appear together when both are back home  :2thumbs:

Beep Beep Dave

It sure is a solid car, keep the pics and updates coming. I am really happy for you. What a great car :2thumbs:
