Crosstown Motors in Edmonton had their car show this past Saturday and I seen two xx daytonas there.  An orange one and a black one.  Also, the owner of the orange one has a brother in Kelowna BC that has one and I sold some of my Charger parts to a guy in Saskatoon SK that has one as well.  That's 4 Daytonas that I know of in Western Canada.  I wonder if there's more.

The owner of the orange one said he just bought it from a collector in Indiana.  This car is mint. The black one according to the owner was originally orange and he said he was changing the color of it back to orange from black.  Anyone else here manage to see the Crosstown Show.

When I first read this I thought that the two original daytonas that sold at crosstown (recently reserected orange 4-spd and an ultra low mileage auto) showed up but after I finished reading I see that they did not so that would add two more unless of course, they were recently sold. There are a few threads where these two were discussed in the past.

Any pics of the show!

There's more than 4 for sure. There are two that I know of here in Kelowna, there is another one west of Prince George, Bracksma has his black, auto Daytona and maybe a few more I'm not sure. I also have a friend north of Edmonton that has a few as well. That's only the ones I know about for sure.

I personally haven't seen anything down here in the Lower Mainland. I have heard of a Superbird sitting in a yard in Langley though. :scratchchin:

I have pretty well located all Daytonas in Western Canada and am the owner of 2 original Canadian Daytonas. One is R4 Red with 440, Auto , white wing and interior. Second is a R4 Red  4spd, black wing and interior and has no options. From my conversations there has been an influx of daytonas into canada from USA since our $ is strong.

If anybody has info on my 4spd Daytona it would be apprciated. Sold new in Victoria BC . Was on the island most of its life. Would love pictures of it, maybe a contact for first owners family.

In regards to original Canadian daytonas. All Cdn cars serials were  xx29?B414...    The numbers appear to have started low in  eastern Canada and ended with a last larger number in British Columbia. So to my knowledge the numbers went east to west for delivery and some even up and down (North and South) for each province especially if more than one car was sold in a province. Feel free to contact me. Based on this my last car is ending in 667 and I would think Victoria B.C. is the last canadian point unless deilvery was made in the Pacific Ocean.

The orange one that I seen at Crosstown on the weekend had the last six digits starting with 33xxxx.  The car belongs to a guy in Sherwood Park, AB and said that he just bought it this year in Indiana.  He said it was owned by a collector that had mostly Chebbys in his collection.  The black one that I seen was originally orange according to the  owner and resides in Calmar, AB.  The VIN on that one started with 4xxxxx .  This is the one the owner said he was returning it to the original orange.  The guy that owns the orange one in Sherwood Park said he has a brother in Kelowna that owns one, but he didn't provide detail.  I wish I had taken pictures.

Did he buy it from a guy in terre haute, Indiana? That's where I bought my bird and man the guy had about 250 cars. Mostly Indy cars and pace cars for every year including newer. But man his car collection was huge. And if he had one bird I would imagine a Daytona to go with it at onepoint

Fella in the neighboring subdivision has 2, he has been helping with mine getting measurement and pics.  Also have a high school buddy who's dad was a manager in the late 60's and 70's at Crosstown (think its Crosstown one of the old dodge dealerships in Edmonton) who has a real 69 Charger R/T Hemi with maybe 20000 miles, been sitting for 40 years or so, was considering getting that but wanted $100000 for it.  Out of my price range.
