Is there something to oil or maintain? I can hear it make noise when I hit the button, and it used to play the music, but??

Thanks -

When I had min installed, I periodically put a light weight oil down the tube going into the black part of the compressor where the hoses for the horns attached.  I actually still have my complete set up but it is no longer on the car.

SO just pull the hoses, squirt a little oil, and see what happens?  :scratchchin:

yes.  thats what I did.  seemed to make it spin faster as I had a slowed down version till the oil lubed it up and got back to normal speed.

Thanks - this worked perfectly! A few drops of air compressor / tool oil, and she makes noise again.

If you'd read the instructions, it says to use air tool oil in the compressor every once in a while.

I am thinking about buying a Dixie horn so I'll have one when I get a charger. I have heard so many that sound like pure crap. They are either way to fast or slow, and the tune is very flat and not close at all. What brand is the best to get? I wish I could find a jubilee like they had on the show, but that's dang near impossible. Will the wolo brand work right if you adjust the power wire size and oil it? I just hate to spend $60 bucks on a horn just to send it back when I realize it's a crappy knock off. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks guys. :2thumbs:

Alright. I'm in no hurry!  I know the ones back in the 80's were a jubilee. I'm pretty sure they are discontinued.  If I could find one of those I would jump on it!
