After purchasing all I needed for my new interior, it finally arrived a few weeks later!
I cant speak highly enough of Dante Dicarlo (Dante's Mopar)....nothing I asked of him was too much! He'll get my business any day of the week!!
Anyway, the bits and pieces arrived, so it was off the upholsterer. He made all new seat foams, adjusted the springs and painted the frames, then re-covered the seats!
I had already installed the dash, instrument panel, and carpeting. I'd re-dyed, and installed the new upper door pads, dash pads (upper and lower), center console, armrests, etc....
My upholsterer installed my new headliner, then it was up to me to finish off by re-fitting the seats!
I'm sure you'll agree, by looking at the photos, what a difference it's made! I couldn't be happier!
Now, to put some money aside to have the bodywork taken care of...
Thanks for looking,

Wade

And more....

And more still....

WOW! Wade, what an improvement. Looks great. It's amazing how much the old driver seat had faded.

Love the red. Great job. Btw I like the colored speaker grills.   Nice touch.

New interior has to be one of the most rewarding parts of the resto since its the part you see the most yourself, or hopefully its the part you see the most.  Nice work, it looks great in there.

Thanks!
Rather than buying the pre-made foams, my upholsterer made his own for these seats.
I believe they "filled out" the seats better than the pre-made foams do IMO.
And, OH BOY they're comfy now!!! compared to before!

Unfortunately, over here the modern seatbelts are a legal necessity!
But, they dont look out of place!

Looks great, very well done.  The red interiors are by far my favorite.  :2thumbs:

Where is over here? Looks great. Would you have done original seatbelts if the law allowed it? Thanks

macca3441

"Over here" is sunny Queensland, Australia!!
Laws in this state dictate seatbelts must comply with "Australian Standards"!
But they look ok.
Thanks,

Wade

macca3441

Would love to Homerr,

But like I said....it has to comply with Aust Standards!! and that wouldn't!
However, the black belts compliment the black dash fascia, I think!

No doubt about it, a little bit of black sets the red off beautifully.  :2thumbs
