I just relocated.

Ive taken my hot rod out once for shits & giggles once it arrived and have had the garage open.  Now all of sudden I hear loud exhaust being throttled going by the front of my house.  They don't want any of my Charger, lol.
But Im anxious to get the word out, lol.

soon, very soon...

Is that school bus yellow ?

Looks like a 1969 999 paint code.  Referred to as State vehicle colors, lol
A buddy had a '69 Hemi RR painted that color.

The paint I purchased was ppg omni code 60326.

Did you use their springs too?

I didn't.

Let my 17yr old son drive the 68 for the first time.  He did a great job with the 4 speed, didn't stall it one time and was surprisingly smooth in how he shifted. Had him wear my original scat pack jacket for the photo op  ;D

Yeah, I figured I'd go all in on their system. Cars faster than mine are running it so they'd be good enough for me :shruggy: Weight savings was important to me also, as you know how heavy our cars are :drive:

Close, I was by portage lake. I thought about going to Whittier, but it was getting late and I didn't want to get stuck there if I missed the last tunnel run  :P:drive:

I got my tail stripe put on. And going to the exhaust shop Monday. I don't know why but it is easier to build the car than to post a picture on this site. All I get is messages that say either to rename file (which don't work) then it says I have already posted it. So I wont post any.  :brickwall:

Name the pic with random letters and numbers. Size to one meg and it will fit.

Made a list of front end suspension and steering hardware that I'll need for my 71 383 Canadian export Charger, added it up mentally, then went out to the beer fridge and got another cold one.
This after last weeks visit to a buddy's panel shop for the rust repair assessment cost, which also got the fridge opened and closed a few times.
I guess I'll keep pulling extra late and weekend shifts at the plant to obtain more fun coupons...

Re-tuned it today, again.  Initial timing set at 15 and set the idle mixture screws at about 1 turn out with 16 inches of vacuum.  Seems to be running pretty decent now.
