Montreal Wing Car

Did a little weekend trip with friends to Vegas to the MATS, was there on Friday, went to California on Saturday, back to Montreal on Sunday night!

There were a few aero cars: (is it o.k. to post pics of tags? they were out in the open...)

There was another Lemon Twist Bird also, but I did not take a pic, thought it was the same one I had photographed earlier...

That 500 is only 12 numbers after mine.  Same drivetrain and mine was originally stripe delete also. Probably followed my car right down the assembly line.  I'd also like to know what they were asking.

69_500

Had very limited info on that C500 before now. Only knew it was a black car and a HEMI. Did not know it was a 4 speed car.

69_500

So did anyone get a phone number for the black 500? I know I could not afford it right now but do know someone who could and that would be interested.

Were not all Aero cars coded for stripe delete?

Good questions.   Answers?

My understanding was that all 500's were stripe delete so they didn't waste putting on the wrong stripe at the factory, then Creative put on the 500 stripe following very loose guidelines of white on dark cars and the opposite on light.

That was a new one to me also...thanks for sharing!

Any info on the orange "lowly" 69 Charger parked next to the sublime 'bird?   Interesting placement of a "440" decal on the fender

In the spirit of trying to understand, how does one know if a 500 was a stripe delete car or not ( unless there's 1st hand knowledge/pictures when it was new )? I mean all 500's and Daytonas have V88 on their fender tags ( or at least they are supposed to ). I mean, we all know they were stripe deletes from the assembly line to Creative, but how do we know they didn't have one when they left Creative to a dealership?

mmmmmmm Black 500.    Dats nice indeed.

Black interior, so... it would have had a white 500 stripe and with the repaint/resto or whatever... a stripe was not put on?  Or am I seeing it wrong.  I think it would look nice with a white stripe.

Here are my other pics of the Hemi 500

Thats funny, the vacume hoses on this car are cut at the firewall. On mine they are cut at the radiator support just behind the battery.
