That's right, I want your opinion!

I really like how these look but before I commit, does nayone have any experience with these or with the brand?

EDIT:  Copy/paste the link, if you just click it it shows a different wheel.  The one I like is the 5 spoke wheel.

Nevermind, figured it out.  Wheels looks awesome, I just wish they had a wider lip.

Not bad...

I would have preffered a polished lip but this is pretty sweet.

I like the spokes better on this one but the machined lip is kinda narrow.

Damn it's hard to choose rims...

And then there's these...

Can you see a pattern here?

If anyone knows of more wheels with this flavor, please post the link/pic.

I feel your pain brother! Budget is my big factor, that link I sent you off eBay was the best/closest I could find. Factor in lug nuts, mounting tires, balance, center caps, shipping, on and on and it racks up fast!  :eek2:
Just for what is on the car now was nuts, buy 5 15" used steel rims with tires from a junkyard, use 3 (one for spare.) after getting balance checked. Have 4 tires removed from my rotted alloy slotted rims and have 2 new tires installed. Then return 2 of the junk yard tires for refund of 8 bucks each and sell my old slots to them for scrap aluminum @ 20.00 each. Then later have 2 more matching tires installed.    3 days of screwing around and 300.00 just to have 4 new tires on ugly stock steelies. But they rid/handle nice and let me dial in suspension repairs. (P205 75/R15")

Dino

You know Neal, I'm toying with the same ideas.

I do like the look of steelies but when I saw the MB rims, same as c55 coys, I thought they'd look real nice on my car.  Especially with all the sating black on my car, the spokes would match great.

Why is it so hard to make up my mind?   :smilielol:

I was also looking for a 295/60r15 but it seems they don't make those anymore, at least not in a rwl tire.  Guess I'll stick with a 275/60 as I need the tire height.

Vectors are also still in the running but way in the background now.   :icon_smile_big:

Dirk,
I absolutely love these Magnum-like rims.  I would love to put a set on my Stratus.

I agree good buddy, those are very nice.  But for a few reasons I would like to stick with 15".

We have 17" rims on the TA and on my Honda and the lousy Michgan roads do not make that a fun drive...at all.  Too many potholes here.

I also like the look of a good sidewall AND I really want the raised white letters.

IF they ever fix the roads up here I may get a 17" but we're not there yet.

Maybe I shouodl get the chrome rallyes to replace my 14" road wheels with trim rings.

Three 15X8 rims for sale here....look in parts for sale.

I Personally do not like the 17" magnums at all.......I do like the other rims you posted...but I am to having a hard time deciding on aftermarket rims, and for now just running factory rally's.....I have always loved torque thrust 2's but not so much on Mopar's...but still thinking about them, I think heavy cars like ours need the wider spokes that I have seen on other cars to balance it out...

what about the 15" cragar "magnum" rims   :2thumbs:

I am leaning towards the MB old school wheel.  If it had a wider lip there would be no contest.  They are the same as the coy c55 but those don't come smaller than 17"  Finn runs them on his 68 and they look absolutely awesome but I don't know if the look will 'work' with 15's

The magnums are also in the running, I run the road wheel now so at least I have an idea what they'd look like.

Dirk, not sure if you've seen the wheels on my white 68 , but I got true on eBay and grudge were only like 500 for the set. Very Wikipedia to the first set you posted but mine have a dark grey center instead of black. The most awesome part about them is that they are made in the USA instead of China.

I went with Boyd Coddington JYD 18`rear 17`front....but I also have 15`Steelies

I really want to lower the back a little. It sits too high for my taste

Choosing wheels are like choosing a girlfriend. We may gravitate towards certain types, but the subtilties between them make fine tuning the selection potentially difficult.

Just to add to your confusion, here is another 5 spoke design available in 15-20 in diameters and widths from 3.5 to 15:

I just emailed them about 4 15"x8" 4" or 4 1/4 backspaced rims with 255 60 R15 tires.  :scratchchin:

Dirk, Here is my opinion.  Wheels can make or break the look of the car.  My suggestion is if you find a set and they are expensive, do what you can to get them, wait if you need too, don't settle.  There are hundreds of wheels out there, it may take a while.
