Wow that looks great! Can you give us the dimensions of the 2X6 jig?
Thanks!

Bill, I installed my dash in one piece as timmycharger did. Didn't take as many pics as he did. I have a few posted on my resto thread, they're on page 4.

Timmy charger is that a aftermarket ac unit? I am asking because I am at a crossroad with my charger which has ac but have been thinking about putting in a aftermarket unit verses the work of trying to get the original working. Thanks For any info you can give me.

That dash is sweet. I always thought that moving the dash with the bezels in place could crack them :shruggy: :eek2:

:2thumbs:   nice job

Thanks! Yes, that's a classic auto air setup. The kit came with the pods that mount under the dash, but I just found some originals and cut the holes in my dash on the sides and used an original a/c center bezel, bought some length of tube to make it all reach.  The unit I have is made for cars that didn't have AC originally, so it uses the selector for a car without AC, so if you were going that route, you may need a non ac one.

Al

thanks for sharing and taking the time to document the installation with pix
