I started bending the stainless steel air conditioning lines that will be hidden under the right side fender, I will also make S/S heater lines to run under the fender.
Thanks
Pat

The small AC line only took about 45 minutes as I had the 1st line to use for a template. Need to get a few fitting for the hot water lines this week.
Thanks
Pat

I need two more fitting and I can finish the water lines. Now if I find a 3" mandrel pipe bender to borrow I could do the exhaust ;-)
Thanks
Pat

Wow, this is nice!  Great work!

Very nice!

Can I get some info on those clamps holding the lines on. I am about to redo my fuel system and those look like they could keep things nicely routed. Do they come in other sizes?

I received the back ordered EFI fuel tank from Tanks today. The tank looks stock but it is set up for an in tank fuel pump and it has baffles spot welded inside along with a 6" X 6" fuel tray. This looks like a nicely made tank for anyone putting a EFI system on their Charger!
Thanks
Pat

Looking good. I've got mine coming as well and can't wait to see it.  :2thumbs:

Does it say what that fitting behind the pump and sending unit holes is for? Don't recall seeing that in the photos on their site?

It's a vent and there is also another vent on the in tank fuel pump. So that will make 3 vents including the fill vent.
Thanks
Pat

Supercharged Riot

Hey Keepat. Any chance you can share more details on mating the T-56 with your engine?
Like what parts to get and where to source them?
Im looking to do the same thing and I dont know where to start.

I bought the T56, bell housing, clutch and flywheel from Silver Sport Transmission. (see link below) There is not a 6 speed kit for a B body as there is so much modifications to get a T56 to fit but with a few mods to the tunnel it will work.
Thanks

I finished test fitting the evaporator and making the heater and AC line inside the car. Welded 4  ¼-20 studs on the firewall and top of cowl to hold the evaporator instead of the through-bolts and screws. I also put the heater control valve under the dash to hide it.
Thanks
Pat

keepat

With the help of a few of the members from the DC forum I cut in the outboard dash AC vents use some great measurements and pictures from (DC_1) and a big shout out  to (oldcarnut) for sending part of an AC dash for an original template, THANK YOU! If anyone can use the vent template PM me your address and I'll mail it out NC.
Thanks
Pat

keepat

Finished the AC and heater lines at the motor, all that is left is one short line to make from the drier to the inter fender bulkhead fitting.

After bending the S/S line I had a friend weld the fitting on instead of silver soldering them on.

The short braided soft lines for the heater and AC running forward and down will help to de-clutter the engine bay.
Thanks
Pat
