That's 160,000 in US dollars. Let's see I could spend 90,000 on a non-running, beat to snot, non numbers matching rust bucket or buy this. Time to make the call to Calgary.

WINGIN IT

120 hours on the nose? :shruggy:
Assuming non matching motor??

F8-4life

120 hrs on the nose and the tail panel is body color. Not trying to be critical but realistically how does that work in the resto process, especially on a high dollar car?

i have been talking with the owner (russ) via email and he would love to find out more of the car's history.  I think he once belonged to the club so I imagine at least one person here knows of the car. russ is fine with me sharing his vin in hopes of learning more. i linked him to this thread and told him he should sign up here to share his ownership story.

as for the rear panel being painted wrong, he wrote this

"The car was painted all black by the guy I bought it off in the early nineties he lived in Pennsylvania area maybe you saw it in your area my screwup on the back panel because car was black I thought all orange what shade of black should the panel be"

long time ownership of a desirable four gear car complete with its sheet, with the added bonus of the restoration photos- not a bad way to join the aero world

When I contacted the owner he said US dollars, but he's not firm on 205K.

I talked with Russ about 2 months ago. My price at that time was offered to me at $175,000.00, and yes that price is for US dollars. It is a replacement warranty block. Anything you want to know about the car just ask me. I have a lot of info on this Daytona. I got along pretty good with the owner Russ.  :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big:
