Hi all,

Just curious to ask - the taillights on my 69' Charger look good, but I was thinking about getting new ones (or high-end used ones) to help my tailpan 'pop' even more. However, because replacements are rather pricey and I'd like to try and keep my originals if possible, is there a proper way to clean them to see if I could try that route first before opting for a total change out?

Thanks for any and all responses,

Nacho-RT74

Do you mean lenses?

My fav procedure for cleaning and wax at the same time... toothpaste!!. Not aggressive like a regular wax and  soapy for cleaning.

I have use it even for wax/polish cluster lenses! Able to remove soft scratches. Cotton and toothpaste.

Hmm, I'll see what paste may work the best & look into it, such as with baking soda, etc. Thanks again as it was a fun tip to learn,  ;) .

On some forums, users report that the polishing kits intended for clear headlight lens seem to work on colored tail lenses too.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
