could be an 8 1/4, thats what my 72 se had,factory 400,727,but witha 2bbl-if that makes any diference

I think by the look of the inspection cover it is a 8 1/4, to small to be a 9 1/4 and the cover is on the back and it aint a Dana

I realy haven't looked at mine.  I will get over there today after school and get back to you.  Sorry but I am running in 4 directions this weeknd, Ryan and Rollmike from the site are having there moparty Saturday night, My son just bought his first home and I am helping with renovation, he has to establish residentsy in 30 days and electrical inspector found old knob and tube wirring, all must be replaced :'( I am driving a wrestler to a recruiting visit at Northern IL University, It's getting cold and I have not completly closed the pool or checked furnaces at rental property, gotta do that this weekend, and oh yah I need to start stripping this parts car, and cleaning up the parts I need for my Charger and post the rest for sale.  So much to do I don't even know were to start!!!  Feel like going to bed and pulling the covers over my head, but my wife probably wouldn't let me sleep any way :-\  Well that rant felt good,  I will get over there as soon as I can and let you know if it is a 2 or 4 barrell

Mine has 400/727, 2bbl and 8 1/4 (2,71 on the tag).
That's the reason why Ken got 8 3/4 for me (3,23).
