574 Horsepower/583 Ft/lbs Torque, pump gas , 750 cfm carb, Torker 383 Intake, "all in" by 5700 rpm. Will scan, and get the actual dyno sheets up later. This was a relatively inexpensive engine to build, and easy. Whats better, is the Torque curve starts @ 3500 rpm at 542.3 Ft/lbs, and stays above 500 ft/lbs through 53-5400 rpm ? I forget already ! Enough to motivate ANY heavy "B" body. Check it out, I'll get more photos and details up later. http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,23089.0.html

Dunno, what you'd spend, you'd have to talk to your builder 'bout that one, I'm sure he'd give you an estimate.
My Customer supplied some used EDDY heads, and a Torker 383 Intake, Thats it, That's ALL.
I supplied the rest, block, crank, Rods, Machining & balancing, etc.

I guess I should also get a "parts list" together, as to what was used in this engine ? As well as the dyno sheets ? Would this be helpful ? You fellas can price your own parts from where-ever, Machining, Porting & Balancing estimates from "your guys". I've been posting photos of the Short Block, Crank, Heads etc., as a guide already. Go here for a look if interested further; 451 short block prep used http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,22274.0.htmlor here, for the 451 EDDY head prep used http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,21828.0.html

The Camshaft is our own "custom grind" from Comp. Cams. It is a Flat Tappet, solid lifter.
It is NOT proprietary, just a matching of lobe profiles from the existing Comp. databases, based upon our experience, building Mopar Race Engines over the last few decades.
It is NOT a fast ramp .904" lifter Diameter, and, It is EASY on springs and parts, as this is a "street" engine designed to live a long time.
I will supply the specs when I get time to scan, and post the dyno sheets etc.
It costs the SAME money to have a Cam ground, as buying one "off the shelf", the ONLY difference is the few dollars more freight, and about 2-3 week wait. ANYBODY tells you different, WALK AWAY !
Bob out.

Yep, custom is the only way to go, especially when you have a dyno proven combo and years of experience like Bob has. Ok Bob, quit slacking and post those flow numbers, cam profile and dyno sheets ! Ron

as you know I'm thinking on make that stroke with JUST stock parts including torque converter ( 452 heads, 400 rods, stock camshaft, etc... ) trying to get an iron casted crank to keep same balancing and stuff around... that would be IF I find a crank locally. Of course only buying non stock the pistons. I want a complete sleeper. Maybe just mill down a little bit the heads and installing metalick gasket. Can I get something similar on HP and torque, and completelly streetable ?

Nacho, i would use the 440 rods, this way you have a lighter piston, for the extra, you might as well get some good after market ones from 440source or Muscle Motors, i used a 69 crank & rods from a 440 for my 451 with the ross F/Ts, it didn't take much to balance out, but i got these parts on a trade, so i wasn't out much (just an intake) i spent about 250.00 to have the crank done (counterweights cut down & turned 10/10) for the money, you just can't beat the stroker kit, 1199.00 & you get crank, rods & pistons.

I have beeing searching a 440 crank for years and didn't find it... so I have to get it first. I have found complete 440 engines from friends, but I don't want to part out those. if you think I'll spend $1200... think on international shipping and I'll get double of that . plus machine job

Just wait til your friend visits Connecticut again and have the kit delivered there and then your friend can bring it back.
