    then i went to belton cruise night saturday night , after spending the afternoon at the kansas speedway for the nascar truck race ( or really the toyota truck race) 


    got a cool 1970 missouri plate for the birdible a guy sold me at the cruise night    Z4N-440
guy came up to me knew i had a 70 model car with a 440 in it   :2thumbs:

  doug i didnt buy that one but if you want it i think he wanted 20 bucks (little rust ) for it . I can tell him you want it and get it for you . 
   I was hopeing the 440 plate had the C1R on it  , for see 1 roadrunner  but no such luck

nah--$20 is more than i pay for rusty plates...I'm trying to get them all.


I got a mint Panama Canal plate from '70 for $24--that's a wild one.  I should bolt the thing on for a show or two and see how many people notice it.

Oh ya funny guys, i dug around my parts stash for 15 minutes till i found it in the last place that i looked.  Here it is with me, and my Hemi, notice the callouts on the hood..  :yesnod:

It's about a 2 1/2 hour dirve through the mountains.

I think our group is getting together at Cantina Laredo down at Branson Landing on Lake Taneycomo on Friday night. They have the best Fajitas that I've ever had in my life. It's one of those high end type Mexican restauraunts. Everyone's invited.
What's nice is, you can hang out there in the open mall and watch the fire and water show which is located right next to the restauraunt.
