Greg just called again... he will send pictures in the next day or two. I will post them as time permits... The final push on getting the C500 in paint is accelerating, might happen by Thankgiving! I will soon be asking for everyone's help in making sure the C500 is ready for color. Specifically, I want to do an "inventory" prior to base coat application of the various permanently attached brackets, clips, straps, etc. inside the trunk, passenger compartment, engine bay, and bottom side of the body. The original body shop was supposed to carefully document all of the attachments, but...   So look carefully at the pictures that I post... AND post reference pictures if you have 'em. Thanks!!! Four more pictures for tonight... The only major remaining body work is to spot weld & lead the rear window plug back in.
By this weekend I will begin my "inventory" posts... permanent brackets & retainers, holes, etc. The idea will be to find missing welded on parts or missing or extra holes... for correction prior to painting. I am collecting & resizing pictures for those posts, and it is going to take a while.

Not really... the first body shop, Brown Mound Ulteriormotive (not their real name, but it fits), bled money from me at an astounding rate... so little was left for other planned purchases. I did buy a lot of repro items from BEA (thanks Mike!) for the C500... still have more to buy. Since the move to Greg's shop, health issues and other personal items have kept me from sending anything out for refurbishment... My plans have had to change, so I have talked to someone about doing the assembly on the car. If everything works out, I will be loading up all the loose parts to take to him in the next few months... Allen |

Sorry to hear about your wheelhouse woes.
I see time has done nothing to improve the quality of the Goodmark product.
Several years ago, I faced a similar circumstance. I restored a friend's 1970 Roadrunner convertible. There were hardtop wheelhouses on the market, but none for convertibles. So I modified a pair of hardtop parts for the 'vert. Not too bad. The quarters fit the contours of the wheelhouse perfectly. I was satisfied.
Two years later, I bought quarters and wheelhouses for my Charger.Thus began the exercise into frustration and futility!
The wheelhouse had a flange at the top, with a fairly accurate locating hole for reference. OK.
After I installed the left wheelhouse, I found that it was 1/2-1 inch wider at the rocker panel than stock. In fact, the quarter panel at the rocker seam actually projected out and away from the rocker flange. I was forced to "pie-cut" the wheelhouse to pull it in. Then, after all that....the contour of the wheelhouse opening wouldn't fit the wheel opening on the quarter panel! The factory chrome trim fit the wheel opening perfectly, so obviously the problem was with the wheelhouse.
Many hours of labour, cutting, bending, welding...and I made it fit.
Not long afterwards, I read a similar story in a Mopar magazine.
Even now, years later, I'm still torqued about it. So much so, I may cut those quarters off just to remove those wheelhouses, and replace them with a better set!
I'd hoped for your sake that issues in build quality with those wheelhouses would be resolved by now.
Obviously, they're not.
