Not for my car...

On diagram states red wire must be linked to the wire running up to coil ( brown ).

I have known MSD must be feeded the same on START and RUN, without decay or cut power.

IF I feed the MSD with brown wire runing to coil on original setup, keeping the ballast I guess, will be feeded on both moments, but on RUN  will be feeded with less than 10 volts.

Is that right ? can be feeded in that way ?

Or would be better remove the ballast and join both Blue and Brown wires to MSD and get 12 Volts ALLWAYS ?

Nacho

The MSD intructions are ment for Chevys... Even the Tech persons answering in the MSD Tech forum cant give you a direct and clear answer about how to hook up the wires in a Mopar, they are al Chevy guys :flame:

Trust me, thats the correct way to wire up the MSD in your Mopar..

yeah that's why I thought and that's why I was asking ;) to be sure... didn't sound logical get the source from ballast because the voltage decay on RUN.

Ghoste

They have a more detailed wiring instruction guide but you have to pay for it.  That book shows it bypassing the ballast exactly as Tom has drawn out.

don't worry, I already guessed about that, just wanted to be sure based on experiences!!!

Thanks!!!
