Why is Al thinking about selling the car? Or he is really just more or less trying to get a real world gauge of the value of the car? Great looking car though. And man with it being a 4 speed, makes me  :drool5:

you think so? It appears cars worth more than 100k are holding to their value somewhat and not taking the recent hit in value, i could be wrong, wife says I am all the time.

What a beautiful C500.  It would look great next to the hemi 500 in the garage :drool5:
I'm in no way trying to nit pick, just asking for my own knowledge:  Is the radiator in this car incorrect?  Shouldn't it be an 054 radiator with the 4 speed?

Actually, I think a 440 4-speed could have come with either a 054 or 055.. The 054 would be 426 hemi specific in either tranny with N51 (max cooling). The A12's and Daytonas also go the 054... The none N51 package 440 4-speed cars got he 055. I'll have to check Dana.. She's got the original rad. in her to the best of my knowledge.

I spoke with Al a few weeks ago about buying his car, but at the time his price was more than I was willing to pay.  I don't know the exact reason he is selling, but he said something came up so she had to go.  He's got a lot into it, so it won't be a fast/cheap sell, I'm guessing.  I'll certainly be watching the auction closely.   :popcrn:

Troy, maybe Al's auction will be a good preview of what would happen if you put Dana up seperately.   ;)

Chris you are right, when I purchased the car from california I had the car shipped and when I got the car here in Florida someone from the shipping company had hot dogged the car while it was in route here, they broke the motor mount and the fan went into the radiator. Well the shipping company stated that they would re-core the radiator; so when I got the radiator back I noticed that the radiator number was from an earlier date. The company stated that it was the same radiator that I gave them and to this day I still  don't know what really happened because to be honest I never checked the numbers on the radiator when the incident took place . I have been told that I have the incorrect radiator, but hey it fits. I never said that the car was perfect .  :icon_smile_cool:

Al just to clairfy but your car is coded to receive the 055 radiator according to the broadcast sheet.

All I can say is if you have the right car and correct Docs you will get the money. Lately we have seen some garabage at the auction what I call put together Mopars.  :icon_smile_cool:

The 055 is relatively easy to get over the more desirable 054.  Glen-Ray radiators also offers them in reproduction as well...

That car is so sweet!  Shame you have to sell it.  Hope everything works out OK for you and your family, whatever the issue may be.
